The Daisy takes its name from a piece of Pagosa Springs history. This valley was once home to Fred Harman, creator of Red Ryder, whose ranch and the surrounding mountains helped shape his picture of the American West.
And yes, it’s that Red Ryder—the one behind a certain BB gun and a Christmas Story.- you'll shoot your eye out kid.
